Important Notice:

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, IUSSTF will not be soliciting applications for Bilateral Workshops/Symposia/Training Programs and Indo-U.S. Virtual Networked Centers at this time. As the situation evolves, we will post updates on our website and social media platforms.

Please note that IUSSTF personnel will be available over email during regular office hours to answer your queries. Until then, please practice social distancing and stay safe and healthy.

As its mandate, the Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum provides an enabling platform to the scientific enterprises of the two nations by supporting an S&T program portfolio that is expected to foster sustainable interactions and long term collaborations by promoting bilateral scientific and technological cooperation.

IUSSTF solicits proposals twice a year for Bilateral Workshops/Symposia/Training Programs with an aim to disseminate information and create awareness through substantive interactions between Indian and American scientists and researchers from academia, laboratories and industry with the explicit aim to develop sustained linkages.

Knowledge R & D Networked Centers
Knowledge R & D Networked Centers aim to encourage joint project implementation amongst Indian and American scientists from Academia and Laboratories on focal areas of thematic and knowledge research through networking, thus paving the way to sustainable interactions and developing long-term relationships. The Networked Center may also provide opportunities for integrating research with education.

Public-Private Virtual Networked Centers
Public-Private Virtual Networked Centers enable Indian and American scientists from Academia and Industry to work together to promote pre-commercial R & D activities having potential towards applied research and product development. These Centers are aimed to best capitalize on the scientific and technological innovations in translating ideas from the bench to the market place. However, no financial support will be extended/provided to Industry participants.
